Changes in the terms of the competition for the best publication 2017-2020 in the field of Cellular and Molecular Neuroscience
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, NEUROTWIN grant programme continues, but slightly changes the terms of the competition for the best publication 2017-2020 in the field of Cellular and Molecular Neuroscience. The winner of the competition will receive a grant to participate in any European neuroscience conference of his/her choice.This competition is for students, graduate students and young scientists (no more than 10 years after the thesis defense) from Bogomolets Institute of Physiology of the NAS of Ukraine. It is required to submit to the competition ONE article published in a journal that is referenced in PubMed or Scopus and has an impact factor higher than one (1). The Council of Young Scientists (CYS) of the Institute will select 3 finalists among the participants; each finalist will give a short talk about his/her work (10-15 minutes) at a seminar of the Neuroscience sector with the participation of members of the Knowledge Transfer Committee and the Editorial Board of the NEUROTWINproject, which will make the final decision on thewinner of the competition. A Head of the Council is Dmytro Rusakov (University College of London, UK) and Members of the Council are Borys Safronov (Institute of Cellular and Molecular Neuroscience, Portugal), Georgii Bakalkin (Uppsala University, Sweden), Pavel Belan (Bogomolets Institute of Physiology of the NAS of Ukraine), Yaroslav Shuba (Bogomolets Institute of Physiology of the NAS of Ukraine). After the participation in the conference of his/her choice, the winner should give a short talk about it at a seminar of the Institute or sector. The grant will be funded as a business trip paid by the Institute at the expense of NEUROTWIN. Applications (your short CV and PDF file of your publication) for participation in the competition can be submitted to the Council of Young Scientists (CYS) of the Institute.
